There are many styles of couches and many construction methods. A platform couch is one of the simplest possibilities, consisting mainly of a cushion on the platform. This has two advantages for you. Firstly, it has a pleasant minimalist look that fits easily into a more modern or contemporary decor. Secondly, it is a style that you can duplicate to create your own sofa. There are different ways to approach the project, but any platform couch has the same necessary components.
Platform couch should be simple.
A platform for a couch, of course, you need a platform. It can be a simple wooden frame with a solid piece of wood on top of the top, for example, a piece of plywood or planks to support the pillow. You can also be creative with the platform. For example, use a bed frame if it matches the size. You can find wooden pallets used for delivery as an acceptable alternative. Consider the height of the platform when creating. A comfortable seat for most people is 16 or 17 inches from the ground.
Cushion
There should be a seat cushion on the couch platform. Other details are optional, the backrest is comfortable, but not essential, if the couch is designed for wall mounting. You can use pillows instead of pads for the back. You may or may not want the armrests. There are several approaches you can take, but cut squares or rectangles of soft foam for installation on the couch is one of the easiest approaches. Keep in mind that the pillow adds to the height of the couch, although it will shrink as you sit. If the foam is thin, the platform should be slightly higher than when using thick foam.
Upholstery furniture can be a bit complicated. Consider each of your pillows to be a pillow to ease the situation. Instead of upholstering the entire couch, make a body for each pillow out of upholstery fabric or other durable material. However, if you have no experience with sewing, upholstery may be easier for you, as it requires you to cut pieces of fabric that fit onto parts of the foam and sew them onto the couch rather than sewn. You can also use a large, simple piece of cloth and then shove it in the pillows. This approach is more like using a sofa cover and is simple but less neat than other approaches.
Other features
Although the couch platform requires a platform for the base as a structure, you may want to attach a board to make the back sturdy, or boards on the sides for the armrests. You can make them fit the platform or the upholstery above them so that they appear to be part of the pillow. Despite the fact that it reduces the minimalist appearance, you can add legs to the base in height or use the bottom for storage or add rollers, which facilitates the movement of the couch as desired.

Ask the seller where you buy the plywood board to cut it 2.5 inches smaller than the size of the mattress. For example, if your mattress is 1.90 mx 0.96 m in size, cut the tree into 1.87 mx 0.93 m. This way you do not run the risk of scratching your foot in the forest.
Place the four concrete blocks where the ends of the mattress will be. Set them aside so that they are longer than the height. Although this step does not require great accuracy, try to leave a centimeter of edge between the block and the mattress.
Add more blocks if necessary. To create a double bed, place another concrete brick in the center of the square (for example, the picture on the map “5” in the deck). For a Queen Size bed, in addition to the central unit, position one unit in the middle of each side. On the king-size bed, follow the same procedure as on the queen-size bed, and add 4 rectangular blocks around the center block at the edges of the bed.
Place a wooden board on top of concrete bricks. Place the mattress on the board.
